9/11/16-2=9 AIR degree Lunar Olympic Spirit PHUL work

The Hermanubis Golden Dawn Temple began work with the Olympic Spirits-in regards to Practicus 3=8 WATER Grade work. We began with PHUL-which is associated with the Moon-to link to the Elemental grade work- i.e. Theoricus 2=9 AIR Grade-the Moon-PHUL, Practicus 3=8 WATER Grade-Mercury-OPHIEL, and Philosophus 4=7 FIRE Grade-Venus-HAGITH.

We opened the Temple in the 0=0 Neophyte grade-and utilized the traditional Triangle of Manifestation in association with one of the traditional Circles of Arte from 6th & 7th Book of Moses.

We began the ritual at precisely sunrise (7:25 a.m. Central Standard Time) on Monday September 5th-in which the Moon was 46 percent Waxing Crescent-and under the Influence of 16 degrees Taurus-Stable EARTH. The incense we utilized was a equal blend of Frankincense, Red Sandalwood, and Ditteny of Crete.

We evoked the Spirit of PHUL utilizing the Evocation from the Arbatel. We could only work with the Spirit for a period of one hour. We placed a obsidian mirror in the middle of the triangle of arte for possible manifestation.

We each took turns scrying into the mirror with no results.

We also carefully watched the smoke from the brazier for possible manifestation-again nothing was noticed.

Then each of us worked with whatever form of divination we chose to find a personal name of the Spirit PHUL that would be specific to each of us-in our future workings with the Spirit.

I personally chose to utilize my 1=10 Geomantic box-utilizing the Taoist technique of the Peach wand. The Seal of PHUL was drawn in the sand-utilizing the Peach Wand-and dice were cast-with the totals being used to calculate the letters using Pythagorean Numerology. The other Frater and Soror utilized different methods to include the Tarot and a Pendulum

Once this was complete-we will each create a talisman-utilizing the information obtained-creating a sigil with the name from the Lunar Kamea and be accredited in regards to the specific degree work.
